Witch Switch: Care as Coven

To all the beautiful herbal mavens in the Missoula area:
We've long held a dream of gathering the many-plumed and rainbow colored herbalists, kitchen witches, and plant healers of the area together in one cozy basket for an evening of care, conversation, and deliciousness.

Each of us makes medicine all year long, and much of it flows from our loving hands into the mouths and bodies of our kin and community. We love that...AND just as important, we want to care for ourselves in order to keep being the conduits for this healing. This event is our time to tend to ourselves as healers.

This is an invitation to 24 witches to bring your best medicine, something that is uniquely you that you feel proud of, and are inspired to share with this small but vital subset of our community. Teas, tinctures, hydrosols, elixirs, spice blends, oils, balms, etc, etc! Bring your best. To give everyone an idea of how to package, we've provided a rough breakdown:

oil or alcohol based- 2oz
honey based- 2oz
vinegar or water based- 4oz
teas .5-2oz (depending on how wildcrafted or purchased the ingredients are)
Use your judgement on things that don't fit neatly into these categories, with an eye for what would feel abundant to receive.

Upon gathering, we all get to swap goodies we have made: come with a full basket, and leave with a full basket!

There are a few invitees that are less herbally oriented but no less formidable in their talents: share an experience or gift that is equally healing!

Also, bring a dish to share, as we would love to enjoy the harvest together, and any larger topics you want to chew on with the group: this is a unique time to learn from each other's experiences, see each other where we are at, and understand how we can best support one another at other points in the year.

Due to the intimate nature of this event, this is an invitation only gathering. Please let us know if there is someone who ought to come who we may have forgotten! We will need folks to RSVP by October 13th, so we can make sure everyone in attendance has the numbers on what they will need to bring.
