Unleash your inner wild and root into a year of nourishing plant magic with our Seasonal Apothecary—a seasonal journey for earth-loving baddies who want to nourish themselves and their families all year long.

Each quarter, you’ll receive a box of seasonally inspired, lovingly wildcrafted medicine harvested from Western Montana (and beyond!). Every shipment includes six herbal creations plus a beautifully written journal filled with stories, recipes, monographs, rituals, and reflections to support your body, heart, and spirit.

From the forest to your home—this is herbalism that keeps you connected.

What you receive

Each box contains six products and is accompanied by a beautifully written journal about the preparations, how we enjoy them, plant tales, recipes, and lore surrounding the products within. Products may include: 

  • oils
  • oxymels
  • elixirs
  • honeys
  • teas
  • tinctures or liniments
  • balms, salves, or sunscreens
  • spice blends or herbals salts

and many other potent potions!

Medicine Boxes will:

Purchase deadline is two weeks before each release. Feel free to reach out with any questions!

  • We default to shipping but offer $15/box cash discounts to folks who pick up their box in person at our release Potluck + Party at the Shotgun Sanctuary (1405 Tremper Dr, Missoula) .

  • Boxes are released December 16th, March 25th, June 24th, and September 23rd ** and are available for local pick up at our Pick Up Party + Potluck at the Shotgun Sanctuary (1405 Tremper Dr Missoula, MT) from 6-8pm.

  • Local members can either quick pick-up or leisurely commune and feast with plant people, while taking a deeper dive into the offerings and how we enjoy them. Please mark your calendars if you wish to join us!

In this late stage capitalist circus, we are endeavoring to take out as many corporate middle men as possible and increase access for real people doing really cool things. Some of our barters have become some of our favorite friends and collaborators!

FAQ's

I'm a local member, can I still pick up my box at Meadowsweet Herbs?

No, friend, we have phased out our Meadowsweet drop-point and all boxes that are not collected day-of release will automatically be shipped and you will have the pleasure of getting something in the mail that you genuinely love!

I want to purchase a single box. How do I do that?

You can stop your membership at any time, so select quarterly payments at checkout and cancel the membership after you have been charged for your first box.

I wanna barter but I don’t know if you’ll want what I offer..

So…shoot your shot! The worst that happens is we meet and say hi! Best case, this is the beginning of something amazing.

How do I get the locals discount?

Here is how: if you/someone on your behalf collects your box on our pick-up day, you will automatically get $15 taken off that CSA box. That’s $60/year.

I want to pay in cash, can I do that?

Yes, and we love you for it... but only in person! Please enter all your information (including card info) at checkout and use the code CASHONLY. You must pay on the day of pick up, and if you don’t show we will charge the card and ship your box.

Can I bring my kids or friends to the pick up party?

Absolutely, yes!
