Rowan's Happy Belly Bitters
Ingredients: Wild water, organic cane alcohol, raw honey, rowan berries, douglas fir needles, juniper berries, gentian, dandelion, fennel, cinnamon, orange peel
How to enjoy on it’s own: Place one dropperful on the tongue shortly before a meal or incorporate into your pre-meal beverage.
Some fun recipes with bitters:
Rowan’s Virgin Pisco Sours
3 oz Coconut water
1 egg white
1.5 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
1.5 T maple syrup or agave syrup
3 drops Rowan’s bitters
Pour all but the bitters into a shaker, then fill the shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for one minute, so the ingredients can bond and the egg whites can become frothy. Strain into a glass and place your bitters atop the egg white foam.
Papa piK’s Pisco Sours
3 oz Pisco
1 Egg white
1.5 T maple syrup or agave syrup
1 oz fresh lime juice
3 drops Rowan’s bitters
Combine pisco, lime, syrup, and egg white in a cocktail shaker without ice and seal. Shake vigorously until egg white is foamy, between ten and thirty seconds. Add ice to the shaker and shake again very hard until well-chilled, about ten seconds. Strain into chilled cocktail glass, placing your bitters atop the egg white foam.
